First safety toolbox Wow, what a week. The Lake Monger Community Shed got the keys and celebrated with a range of firsts. Our first safety toolbox Our first busy bee in the shed Our first cuppa and cake in our new home A great turnout, with lots of helping hands enabled us to sort our storage containers out and start moving our gear into the shed. There is still some construction to do, with Cambridge Council organising some internal walls, dust and fume extraction installation and more, before we can start using the shed in earnest but the busy bee was a great first step. Thanks to everyone who helped out on the day and to Max and the committee for their years of effort to get us to this stage. Relocating our treasures Time for cake and a cuppa
A special thanks to Bunnings Warehouse Innaloo for their much appreciated donation of tools to the Lake Monger Community Shed . As a new shed, we are always on the lookout for tools and equipment to enable us to help our local community. This donation helps fill some gaps in our list of required tools but if you have any hand, powered or other tools you would also like to donate, please contact us . We will organise to pickup and remove from your business, workshop or home.
Today I went into the shed to take some measurements for the dust extraction ducting. The inside and outside of the Shed is now very impressive... Here are a few pictures to give you an idea of how the Shed is coming on.
